About Raheem
His ambition to build his career in real estate began as a business assistant with A.K Custom Homes one of the premier developer on the North Side of Chicago where he developed the basic skills to be a successful real estate professional. Raheem is the fourth generation of Khan’s in the real estate business.
His valuable experience in the real estate industry consists of commercial development, residential development and the real estate brokerage business. After successfully assisting to reduce vacancy costs in residential areas by targeting specific demographics, he was given higher level responsibility. He assisted developers with extensive market research that led him to work directly with the president of our company where he developed key skills such as site management, project financing, and construction processes.
Throughout college, Raheem was able to successfully manage working part-time still adhering to client deadlines and business demands while maintaining the demands associated with obtaining a dual major degree in Finance and Real Estate at the top ranked undergraduate business school in Chicago, DePaul University.
In recent years, Raheem has diversified his scope in the real estate industry by taking on internships at New Treir Partners where he gained an understanding of the private equity firms focused on commercial real estate development and management. He has also worked with top broker firms as well with Merrill Lynch where he served as a financial services intern focusing on investment analysis including stocks, mutual funds, as well as his passion real estate.
It is through these diverse experiences that make Raheem such a valuable asset to his clients. His uncanny ability to cater to different priorities and clients while maintaining a professional attitude, dedicating 100% each time, and his desire to learn more about the industry. Raheem’s clientele includes doctors, attorneys, executives of Fortune 500 companies, former professional athletes, young business professionals and even small business owners.
Raheem’s expertise doesn’t end at the closing table or signing of a lease. He is willing to go above and beyond what a commission pays him. He has experience property managing condos as well as apartment buildings and can help his clients prepare for the responsibilities required in being a landlord. Also as the Junior Partner at AK Custom Homes, one of the premier residential developers on the North Side of Chicago, Raheem is able to assist in any sort of construction, rehab or upgrades any client might choose to do. Raheem has contacts with the premier contractors, attorneys, appraisers and mortgage brokers in the city of Chicago.
